PUMPKIN MEN 2017

As you can see above, we’ve finished this year’s pumpkin men. I’m proud that we continue this tradition that I remember doing with my Mom and Dad; as far back as I can remember. Just FYI, the last one is actually my daughter Katherine…but I do sometimes call her pumpkin

Also, a very Happy Birthday to my lovely wife; Lisa! I’ve adored her since we first met here at Antonio’s when she was a “salad girl” and I was a distinguished pizza cook. My how the years have gone. Each year seems to go quicker, but each year is fuller than any before. May this coming year be no exception. Happy birthday sweetheart!

In other family news; Kat signed up for the international trip to Quebec with her French class, (how cool!), The boys are all signed up for ski club; (Tommy’s fractured leg has healed), and Lisa is taking some time off work to declutter our lives. In other words to throw out all of my stuff.

Here at work, we’re just about ready to implement our fall/winter menu. If you’ve got ideas… please let us know!

In the bar; football is in full swing! We show each and every game, have specials galore; as well as feature live music with no cover, every weekend. Please ask for details.

A hard-boiled egg, dredged in flour, encased in sausage and rolled in Panko bread crumbs before deep frying. Served upon a bed of a chipotle infused supreme sauce.

Three or five pasta pockets stuffed with mashed potatoes and cheddar cheese. Pan seared and garnished with freshly caramelized onions. Accented with dashes of garlic, black pepper, and a sprinkle of salt, before finishing with a dollop of real sour cream.

A bed of fresh salad greens crowned with rows of freshly char grilled chicken breasts (diced), marinated eggplant strips, our home made roasted peppers, quartered artichoke hearts and crumbles of Feta cheese. Our landscaper and friend, Jason ordered these the other day, and they looked so good that now I want some! We begin with two all-beef hot dogs char grilled over an open flame, lovingly nestled into freshly grilled hot dog rolls and smothered with fresh chili. Also for $1.10 extra, we’ll sprinkle them with a blend of Jack and cheddar cheeses.


SARAH'S CLASSIC MEATLOAF

Freshly ground beef accented with bits of celery, onions, herbs, spices and just enough bread crumbs to hold it all together. Spiked with dehydrated onions to absorb the drippings while slowly being oven roasted. Dressed in mushroom pan gravy and served with sides of not only fresh mashed potatoes, but also pan sautéed zucchini paired with slices of fresh mushrooms. (You'll get a delicious mini loaf of Garlic Bread, too!)


HARVEST BOWTIE SPECIAL

We stroll through the garden picking our harvest of: zucchini, ripe tomatoes, mushrooms and sweet onions. Pan sautéed with fresh garlic, oregano, basil and enhanced with a pinch of crushed red pepper, a sprinkle of kidney beans and a dollop of pesto sauce. Finished with a squeeze of lime and tossed with bow tie pasta. (You'll get a delicious mini loaf of Garlic Bread, too!)


PRETTY IN PESTO SALMON SPECIAL

At least a half-pound of fresh Atlantic salmon, char grilled over an open flame. Just before it reaches the pinnacle of moist perfection, we smother with our fresh pesto sauce of 100% Olive Oil, fresh basil, Parmesan cheese, fresh garlic cloves, select herbs, and pine nuts. Glazed in our stone oven and accompanied by sides of our rice pilaf as well as sautéed zucchini accented by mushrooms. (You'll get a delicious mini loaf of Garlic Bread, too!)
